Mourn Anita Mui's Death
Canto-pop diva and actress Anita Mui, one of Hong Kong's top celebrities,
died this morning. She was 40.
As one of Mui's steadfast fans, CoCo, now shooting her debut movie
in China, refused to believe her death on hearing the news, "It
must be they (the media) that made up this story. This must be untrue!"
"I grew up listening to her songs," CoCo said, "Anita
is my all-time role model. She is very talented...," CoCo burst
into tears.
"Sister Mui contributed a lot to Hong Kong's showbiz. We love
her. CoCo worships her very much. She learns the dance from the
same teacher with Mui's, and she wishes to collaborate with her
on stage one day," said Nancy, CoCo's sister, with tears.
But, Anita passed away.
We regret the unfortunate and tragic loss of such an incredible
artist. Our condolences go out to those who are near and dear to
Sister Mui. Although she is gone physically, her memory will live
on in our hearts of hearts. |

CoCo Wishes Happiness to Everyone
"Just
make sure you all keep warm," said CoCo to all her fans, especially
those in cold zones.
It has been colder in some places of the world, including Yongjia,
China, where CoCo is now shooting her debut movie. The temperature
ranges from 0-15 Celsius, and CoCo wears at least five layers of
undergarments every day. Just a few days ago, they shot a raining
scene where CoCo was standing in pouring water at sub-zero temperatures.
It was so cold that she couldn't feel anything but a headache. CoCo
said it was the most difficult job she ever had!!!
On the other hand, Christmas is coming this week, but CoCo and
her team will be working without break or holiday in movie location.
Anyways, CoCo would like to wish all the happiness in the world
to everyone on earth, especially her fans.

Hard-working CoCo, Injured, But Still Professional
CoCo
was injured the day before while shooting her first kung-fu flying
scene with wire! It took place in the bamboo forrest and she was
due to fly pass through bamboo, but it was too narrow and the workmen
didn't stop the wire in time so CoCo smashed into the bamboo and
hurt her right leg.
Although she is limping now and in pain, but being the most professional
person, CoCo hasn't stopped for a second. She has been doing dangerous
wire kung-fu move for 3 days. Everyone behind the camera, director,
camera man, etc, praised CoCo's hard work and talent - they all
belive CoCo will be a super star even in acting. They said CoCo
not only has innate talent in acting, but also is extremely hard
working and professional, which they rarely see in people who is
as famous as her.
As for CoCo, she hopes all her fans to keep supporting her and
not to worry too much, for she thinks the injury does not matter
at all. CoCo is enjoying this shooting even she works and lives
in a harsh environment, as she always says, "first bitter,
later sweet!"

press at the movie news conference on Nov. 19th. |
